Krystal Phelps
Regulatory Specialist
Krystal has been a Regulatory Specialist with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2008. Krystal attended Health Care Training Services, Avon where she earned a degree as an administrative assistant. After completing her internship with Beacon Clinical Research, she became the site’s full time Regulatory Specialist. She handles rapid study start up, IRB submissions, and ongoing Regulatory maintenance. She ensures a regulatory document turnaround time of five business days or less

Gabrielle Lewis, CRC III
Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
Gabrielle has been a Clinical Research Coordinator with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2006 and a CRC since 2001. Prior to that, Gabrielle attended Massasoit Community College and majored in Liberal Arts with a Science Transfer. She has also obtained her nursing assistant certifications through the Highlands Training Program and subsequently provided care for up to twelve post-operative patients in an acute care setting.

Peter Kirby, CRC II
Clinical Research Coordinator
Pete has been with Beacon Clinical Research since 2008. He received his degree in Health Information Technology. Pete has over ten years in the health care field including; five years in long term care resident nursing care and five years of caring with patients with hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

Kara Peters, RN, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Kara has been a Clinical Research Coordinator with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2003 and a CRC since 2005. Kara graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Vermont in 2006. Since then, she has worked at Children’s Hospital Boston on a medical/surgical floor and at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA.

Jane White, LPN, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Jane joined Beacon Clinical Research, LLC as a clinical research coordinator in June of 2011. Jane has over twenty years of experience in the health care field including fourteen years in clinical research as a patient recruiter, marketing specialist and assistant clinical research coordinator. Jane has also worked as an LPN in pediatrics and post-operative in-patient rehabilitation care.

Bill O'Brien, BS, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Bill has been in the clinical research field for over 9 years, with both clinical and administrative experience. In 2011 he become a Clinical Research Coordinator with Beacon Clinical Research. Prior to this, Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition and completed public health coursework as an employee at Tufts University.

Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator/ Data Entry Specialist
Melissa has been with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2011. Melissa has 10 years experience in the health care field along with a degree as a Registered Medical Assistant and as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician from Health Training Center in Attleboro, MA.

Cannissa Fort
Lab Technician
Cannissa is a full time licensed medical assistant. Cannissa is responsible for maintaining all study labs and specimens necessary for the various clinical research studies being conducted. In addition she acts as an un-blinded drug administrator on many studies.

Laritza Perez, MA
Patient Recruiter
Laritza is a licensed Medical Assistant. She earned her degree from Lincoln Technical Institute in Brockton, MA. Currently Laritza screens patients from the site’s internal database, charts, and new patients resulting from ongoing studies’ advertising campaigns. She also has experience in EDC and managing internal clinical trial documentation.

Kirsten Kadra
Budgets/ Contracts
Kirsten has been with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2005. Kirsten manages the ongoing contracts. In addition, she helps with budget negotiations during study start up to insure a fast contract/budget turn around.

Jennifer Peters, MBA
Patient Recruiter / Marketing
Jen has been with Beacon Clinical Research since 2007. She coordinates the local advertising campaigns for the various ongoing research studies. She also manages the in house marketing and business development for Beacon Clinical. She studied marketing at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth where she earned a Masters degree in Business Administration in 2006.
