Al Peters, CRC
Site Manager

Al Peters has been a CRC and Site Manager of Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2002. Al graduated from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is currently taking classes towards nursing school at Massasoit Community College, Brockton. In his career in the healthcare industry, he has coordinated over twenty-five trials.  His responsibilities include acquisition of new trials, budget negotiations, and Clinical Research Coordination.

Gabrielle Lewis, CRC III
Senior Clinical Research Coordinator

Gabrielle has been a Clinical Research Coordinator with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2006 and a CRC since 2001.   Prior to that, Gabrielle attended Massasoit Community College and majored in Liberal Arts with a Science Transfer.  She has also obtained her nursing assistant certifications through the Highlands Training Program and subsequently provided care for up to twelve post-operative patients in an acute care setting.

Karen Hensley, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator

Karen has been a Clinical Research Coordinator with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2006.  Karen graduated from Massasoit Community College and majored in Liberal Arts/ Computer programming.  Since then Karen has worked in Acute Psychiatry at Brockton VA Medical Center for about seven years.

Peter Kirby, CRC II
Clinical Research Coordinator

Pete has been with beacon clinical research since 2008. He just recently received his degree in health information technology. Pete has over ten years in the health care field including; five years in long term care resident nursing care and five years of caring with patients with hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

Kara Peters, RN, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator

Kara has been a Clinical Research Coordinator with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2003 and a CRC since 2005.  Kara graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Vermont in 2006. Since then, she has worked at Children’s Hospital Boston on a medical/surgical floor and at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA in the outpatient clinics.

Krystal Phelps
Regulatory Specialist

Krystal has been a Regulatory Specialist with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2008.  Krystal attended Health Care Training Services, Avon and completed the administrative assistant program.  While in school Krystal did her internship with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC helping with regulatory submission of new studies and handling the regulatory for ongoing studies.  After Graduating she started full time with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC.

Kirsten Kadra
Budgets/ Contracts

Kirsten has been with Beacon Clinical Research, LLC since 2005.  Kirsten manages the ongoing contracts.  In addition, she helps with budget negotiations during study start up to insure a fast contract/budget turn around.
